Birthed out of the National AfCFTA Coordination Office's mission to boost Ghana's trade with Africa, the Ghana Trade Expo, organized in collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) is one of Ghana's market entry strategies, intended to position Ghana as Africa's number one trading partner.
The Ghana Trade Expo is a culmination of strategic enterprise support activities started in 2020 under the NCO's flagship Market Expansion Project, which was instituted to facilitate the provision of support to businesses seeking to enter/expand into Africa under the AfCFTA.
The Ghana Trade Expo consists of a series of exhibitions and B2B trade events that will be held in selected markets across East, West, North, and Central Africa. The maiden edition of the Ghana Trade Expo is slated for Nairobi, Kenya, in East Africa, followed by a fair in Cairo, Egypt, and later in other markets in West and Central Africa.
