About Us

GHANA TRADE EXPO

Birthed out of the National AfCFTA Coordination Office's mission to boost Ghana's trade with Africa, the Ghana Trade Expo, organized in collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority (GEPA) is one of Ghana's market entry strategies, intended to position Ghana as Africa's number one trading partner.

The Ghana Trade Expo is a culmination of strategic enterprise support activities started in 2020 under the NCO's flagship Market Expansion Project, which was instituted to facilitate the provision of support to businesses seeking to enter/expand into Africa under the AfCFTA.

The Ghana Trade Expo consists of a series of exhibitions and B2B trade events that will be held in selected markets across East, West, North, and Central Africa. The maiden edition of the Ghana Trade Expo is slated for Nairobi, Kenya, in East Africa, followed by a fair in Cairo, Egypt, and later in other markets in West and Central Africa.

Our Objectives The specific objectives of the Expeditions are as follows:
    1. To introduce Ghanaian businesses and their products from different sectors of the economy to selected target markets.
    2. To identify value chain opportunities for Ghanaian companies in selected markets.
    3. To increase the presence of the Made in Ghana (MiG) brand across the sub-regions of Africa.
    4. To facilitate partnerships (through B2Bs) for trade and investment purposes between Ghanaian traders/ business owners and their African counterparts across targeted African markets.
