Ghana Expo Keyan - 2023
The Ghana National AfCFTA Coordination Office, in collaboration with the Ghana Export Promotion Authority and other key partner agencies, will from 23rd - 27th May 2023 embark on a Market Entry Expedition to Kenya.
The Market Entry Expedition will comprise an Exhibition for more than seventy (70) Ghanaian businesses, trade seminars, and Business-to-Business(B2B) sessions with Kenyan counterparts.
The expedition will also mark the official launch of the Ghana Export Trade House by GEPA, which will serve as a one-stop, wholesale outlet to introduce Made-in-Ghana products into the Kenyan market and promote them to the Eastern and Southern parts of Africa.
With Kenya being the biggest market for East Africa, the Ghana Expo is expected to create a platform for Ghanaian businesses to collaborate with Kenyan counterparts interested in partnerships. This forms part of Ghana's commitment to intra-Africa trade through the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement.
The Expedition is being funded by the World Bank's Ghana Economic Transformation Project (GETP), with support from GiZ Ghana, UNDP Ghana, and Ghana Exim Bank.
